This is a monumental day for me as this article up on Bootsnall is the first major paid assignment I’ve completed! Bootsnall is a travel site that promotes Indie travel, and one of their segments is called Round the World (RTW) Wednesdays, where they post an article that encourages RTW travel. I pitched an idea for a diving piece and wrote up an article about how one might plan a RTW trip with a scuba diving theme.
Obviously I haven’t actually been around the world yet, so lots of research went into writing this piece – I came at it from the point as if I was planning this trip for myself, and boy have I psyched myself up for it! It was hard deciding, but I finally narrowed it down to 3 major countries that one should include on their RTW diving itinerary, as well as provided some practical tips for anyone planning a similar trip.
Writing on demand was not easy for me, especially having an insanely busy month as well as finding the time/initiative while juggling my full time job… but I did it, huzzah!
Check the article out here, tell your friends about it, and do leave a comment or two, I’d love to hear from you! Thanks Bootsnall and editor Adam for the great opportunity.

If you’re an avid scuba diver who just can’t stay out of the water for too long, consider making diving a major theme of your RTW trip. Not only will you get to indulge your love for underwater exploration regularly throughout your travels, it could take you to some unusual places you might not necessarily have thought to visit on your own. We’ve picked out three countries around the world and feature some of their dive highlights that you can fit into your RTW itinerary.
What countries did I recommend? What tips did I give? Read on at Bootsnall…
In case you wanna read more of my diving adventures, here are the latest Dayang logs, though the Manado and Malapascua ones were more interesting trips!
