It’s been awhile since we’ve gotten some inspiration – Elin’s Coca-Cola cans from Iran were pretty unusual! This time around we talk to Christopher How, a new friend of mine who I made on the Sheraton Bali Kuta press trip earlier in August. He’s done his fair share of wanderings as well and you can usually find him over at My Solo Travels, but this time he tells us a little bit about a time he got lost.
Christopher How:
Fussen, Germany
I took this photo when I got lost in the forest for two hours after visiting the Neuschwanstein Castle in Fussen. I came across a lake at the foot of a mountain and the orange glow from the sunset casted a beautiful shade of orange on the mountain. I wouldn’t have been able to capture this photo without taking a risk and venturing into the unknown.
Sadly, I didn’t visit Neuschwanstein Castle (for the record, I can neither spell nor pronounce it right without checking) when I was in Munich last year. I love coming across unexpected prettiness like this though! The wrong turns do turn up the right things some times :)

Kudos to Chris How for having the presence of mind to snap this pic! I get a little jittery when I'm lost :P
