A good day for a wedding at Ocean View Estates in Brisbane

In Australia by Jaclynn Seah0 Comments

So you’ve had a sneak peek through the instagram photos for hejorama, but finally here’s a look at what we came all the way to Brisbane for… the wedding! It was held at Ocean View Estates, a winery about an hour’s drive north of Brisbane. Our friends chartered a bus to ferry us up there after lunch, where we hung around in the afternoon till the ceremony. It was a rather warm and humid afternoon, but the weather was very good for photos and the place absolutely picturesque. The great thing about having your wedding on a winery – the …

Brisbane Bumming: Meriton Serviced Apartments Review

In Australia by Jaclynn Seah0 Comments

On my last Brisbane jaunt for Unholies P’s wedding, we stayed in Brisbane City at the Meriton Serviced Apartments on Adelaide Street. It’s the highest building in the city and we had a pretty great room all the way up on the 2nd highest floor, #73! Brisbane Bumming: Short Snippets of a Quiet City

In Australia by Jaclynn Seah0 Comments

It sure has been one hectic March for me! I went diving in Dayang earlier in the month, and last weekend I flew up to Brisbane for one of the Unholies P’s wedding ceremony. It wasn’t a very long trip, a late Thursday night flight and flying back on Monday afternoon up on Etihad (see the planning here). Brisbane is a surprisingly quiet city. We probably had about 1.5 days to really run around …

The kind folk at Hejorama invited me back for another round of bossing their instagram account, in time for my trip to Brisbane where I attended Unholies P’s wedding. The trip journals and pix are on their way (I’ve been insanely busy with the travelling), but in the meantime here are 5 quick instagram highlights of the trip. In short, P held a destination wedding in Brisbane, Australia out at Ocean View Estates, a winery about 45 mins away from Brisbane city. This was taken in the evening after the ceremony which was conducted at the Gazebo in the background. …

Weekend Wanderlusting – Brisbane

In Australia by Jaclynn Seah0 Comments

Heading into this weekend and the Chinese New Year holiday, I’m going to be doing some serious wanderlusting for March – March will be an exceedingly busy month for me, and for my first proper overseas trip, I’M HEADED TO… Brisbane, Australia! This might seem like a slightly odd place to wanderlust about, but I’m headed there over a March weekend to celebrate the marriage of a good friend of mine! You probably might have heard of her if you’ve kept up with the Unholies in UAE and Taiwan Tales – P’s someone I’ve known since our Junior College days …
