Wallpaper Wanderer – Vroom Vroom in Nakhon Sawan

You might have seen Cherie Anyhowly’s Rules to Adventure By earlier, here’s her contribution to the ongoing Wallpaper Wanderer series. She’s an avid motorbiking fanatic and has in recent trips ridden all the way from Singapore up to Thailand and even Myanmar! Now that is some go-getting spirit. Besides being a great artist, she also spins a great yarn…

 Cherie Anyhowly:

Shanya Guesthouse, Nakhon Sawan, Thailand

One of my favourite things in the world is rolling out of a town at dawn, watching as she rubs the sleep from her eyes and puts together her daily outfit of people and streets. It is a brief moment of rare privilege, and then I’m gone, already on my way to something new.

Always told folks I’d grow up to work in the circus; in many ways my ambitions haven’t changed – I’d still like to blow into places as a curious stranger on a curiouser horse, staying only long enough for experiences to be collected and stories to be exchanged.

To the people you meet, you can be anyone you want, and if the face you wear is interesting enough, they’ll have their own stories about you that spin in place long after the stage curtains have been drawn.

Thanks Nicole! I'm actually not the bike rider, that picture was contributed by one of my featured travellers, and she's a real avid biker chick :)
