Wallpaper Wanderer: The Mountains of Nepal

And we have our first entry for Wallpaper Wanderer that’s not me! (Missed my first post? Check it out here!)

Please welcome Holden Gan, a friend of mine from school. He took a month off work and went on a month-long backpacking trip (Check it out at In Search of Incredible… how’s that for an inspiring name!), I thought he would have some great pix to share to remind him of his trip now that he was back at work, and true enough, here’s what he sent over.

Holden:

This picture was taken in Nepal, at the Annapurna mountain range, enroute Ulleri to Ghorepani. You can see the Annapurna South and Hiunchuli peaks in the distance. The foreground is dominated by the pretty pink cherry blossoms, with the zinc rooftops of a typical Nepali house in the background.

Whenever I look at this picture, it transports me back to my trip. How I wish I can have this beautiful mountain view everyday.

How awesome is this picture! I wish my photos came out so pretty… I look at it I’m already feeling the cool mountain breeze in my hair… I think the actual view must have been incredible~ Do check out his accounts on his blog; it’s pretty informative and has lots of practical advice for anyone planning to embark on a backpacking trip!
