Living with Giraffes

Happy long weekend people! Sucks that it’s over, but it was fun while it lasted!

So yay the tickets are booked and the plans are all made for my Hanoi trip over the Vesak Day week (and the last public holiday we’re going to have in awhile!) It’s going to be a pretty intensive trip – I tend to be a seeing things kinda traveller vs a chillout kinda traveller, but I think it’s going to be great!

But if I ever had the chance, I think I would love the chance to stay in this beautiful manor out in Nairobi, surrounded by lush greenery and having random giraffes poking their head in for breakfast, eating off your walls and lying on the lawn.

You have to wonder if it smells though? I like animals but they do get a bit rank, no? I recall visiting a beach to look for seals, and you definitely smelled them before seeing them!

But it sounds and looks like an absolutely lovely place to stay; having a giraffe randomly stare at you through your 2nd floor bedroom when you wake up? Definitely a once in a lifetime!
